The design process was collaborative from the start. Together, we tested and trialled many bag options, refining fabric choices, and construction techniques, and finishing details until every decision felt right.

Wizard Works pride themselves on doing everything by hand in-house at their London studio, from design and cutting to testing, packing, and delivery. It’s here that innovations are explored, from new waterproofing techniques to improvements in fit and function. Every stitch reflects their commitment to small-scale, high-value production.

For Wizard Works, the collaboration was about bringing their own spirit to Le Col’s performance world. “A lot of bag makers in the UK do fantastic work in making incredibly proficient, technically focused bikepacking gear. But that just isn’t us,” explains Harry from Wizard Works. “We want to create products that are both technically good and fun.”

That philosophy shapes every detail. The bags are built to perform, but they also carry a sense of personality, bags designed not just for utility, but for the joy of the ride.

Each piece in the collection carries a limited-edition reflective design that elevates both form and function. The reflective element is woven into the fabric all over to enhance visibility in low light while adding character to the bags. Large, brightly finished chunky buckles on the saddle bag and tool roll bring a playful edge without compromising on security. Every detail, from magnetic closures to carefully chosen fabrics, was considered to make these bags as reliable as they are enjoyable to use.
