We are proud to announce the first of three teams we will be supplying with kit for the 2016 season.

Richardson Trek are a professionally run amateur team based in Essex and run by Andy Lyons. We spoke to Andy and asked him what he was hoping to achieve next season.

"After a successful 2015 in which the team finished 8th in the British Cycling UK rankings, Richardson-Trek are already planning for 2016. The team are pleased to confirm that they will be retaining all existing sponsors and will also be able to announce additional sponsors over the coming weeks. The team will again be recognisable in their orange kit which will again be supplied by Le Col.

We will continue with our focus of supporting young and talented riders giving them the platform to perform at the highest level in the UK. We will be riding the British Cycling Premier Calendar series, National Championships and National A and B events throughout the season. 2016 will also see the team continue to ride on the Belgium Kermesse scene and also participate in some European stage races. "

Founder and technical designer of Le Col Yanto Barker was very pleased to confirm that Le Col will supply Richardson-Trek.

"As one of the leading riders in the UK this season, I have raced with these guys most weeks and they have always approached each race with discipline and commitment that was noticeable. This team always conducted themselves with the up most professionalism and respect and we wanted to be associated with them again for 2016. The guys regularly achieved great results against bigger and better opposition but they never let that intimidate them. I hope to see them grow in strength during the 2016 season and look forward to seeing more of their success."

Keep an eye out on our social media to follow Richardson-Trek during their winter training and the start of the season.
