Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish, great fit, amazing comfort These HC shorts are my first purchase from LeCol. I am amazed how much better these shorts are than Rapha Pro Team shorts. I really like the low profile pad that offers all the protection needed on racing saddles. The thinner pad allows for greater freedom of movement while pedaling. The looser bib straps are a little disconcerting as first as they feel they won"t hold the shorts in place. I have had no issues with the shorts staying in place on rides over 100km. The looser straps make the shorts comfortable as you don"t feel the straps on your shoulders. I"ll be recommending these shorts to my cycling friends.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top Quality Bought these shorts to compete the Yorkshire Beast Sportive in comfort, having almost always struggled with comfort issues once over 100 miles. Wow, 202 miles and 16000 ft of climbing and not once did I think about rear end comfort, and that is without chamois cream. They are that good. Granted they are expensive but the quality shines through and , well , you get what you pay for I suppose. The gel chamois is amazing, sits exactly where you want it to and doesn"t move about. Highly recommended. Side note, sizing is exactly as per the charts on the website. No upsizing or downsizing here.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Le col hc bib shorts As with all le col gear the build quality is excellent. These don’t get a five star as there are a few little things I would like to improve. The leg bands ride up a little as there doesn’t seem to be enough silicone gripper like they have on their shirts and I would like a slightly tighter fit from the shoulder straps and legs. I’m 6ft 32’ waist and ordered a medium, I could of gone tighter. The pad is execellent after a couple of rides breaking it in but to make it perfect it could do with a slight pouch to put the Crown Jewels in. Overall an excellent short

Rated 4 out of 5 by from High quality bib shorts. Good customer service. Size is quite generous so I had to return my bib shorts and request a smaller size. Customer service was good and they were exchanged without issue. Shorts fit well but I do find the pad doesn"t quite find a good place to "sit". This creates the feeling that it is off to one side and I can feel it rubbing slightly on my inner thigh. When checking though it does seem to be "central". No chaffing/sores though on 50 milers and these will become my training shorts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HC Bib Shorts Great pad! The cut of the legs and butt perfectly hugs and makes wearing these bib shorts feel like you are wearing next to nothing. Great colored insets on the sides and backs of the legs really sets this kit off. I put "em on and forget them. That"s how great the fit is and that"s how great the pad is. The Le Col sizing chart is spot on. I normally am an XXL but the chart said no, for Le Col you want the XL. The XL literally fits like a glove.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Adequate Clever marketing drew me in with a £50 off voucher however even with this the shorts were still £130 so I was expecting a lot. There are some great touches to the shorts and I like the grippy side panels. However I feel that the padding is at best poor, shorts I’ve purchased at half the cost have offered double the protection. So in summary “ok”. I won’t be reaching for them when going on long rides.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bib shorts I purchased these to match the hex shirt I already purchased. I was concerned the size m was bigger than my other Le Col m bib shorts, felt s but loose on my noodle legs but after to readjusting they were perfect. Quality and finish are exceptional and after a 70km comfort was great, the fabric is super smooth to allow me to shift around on my saddle with no snagging. Super happy with these!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Killer Bibs! Love these bibs. Easily up there with the best from Rapha, Isadore etc. Pads are super effective - good for pretty much any distance - and the cut is excellent: snugger around the hips and waist than you usually get with bibs, to the point that the bib straps themselves are almost unnecessary. Might be a problem for the chubbier among us though...
