Join Le Col and Struggle Events in God’s Own Country for an epic ride out with the experts in Yorkshire cycling. Struggle Events are the region's leading cycling events company. They hold epic Gran Fondo’s on the best cycling roads in the region. Their unforgiving parcours challenges riders over 100 miles of tough terrain featuring a shark-tooth profiles of bucket-list climbs. For our LC_CC Struggle Yorkshire Ride-Out they’ve agreed to go easy on us, with a 50 mile loop showcasing some of the best roads around the stunning spa town of Harrogate. We’ll start from the high-end bike shop Prologue where you can enjoy a pre-ride coffee while drooling over the latest bikes in their new showroom. The route takes us straight out into the countryside; passing through the grounds of Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Deer Park. We’ll enjoy the flat, quiet country lanes surrounding Ripon and Masham while chatting to our fellow riders and keeping our powder dry for the more challenging terrain to come. We’ll be treated to the stunning scenery as we climb up over the purple Heather-clad Dallowgill Moor. For riders looking to test their fitness you can let loose up here and we’ll regroup at the top. We’ll roll past the Brimham Rocks National Park with spectacular views over Harrogate and descend back to town for a post-ride refuel.
