LE COL AUTUMN WINTER 2018 - LOOKBOOK

We took our Autumn | Winter 2018 Collection to the Yorkshire Dales & the Forest of Bowland to sample the roads and put our latest kit to the test - here's what we saw.

Littered with steep and unforgiving climbs, the Yorkshire Dales rewards riders willing to try out the lanes. From the notorious kick of Park Rash to the long grind of Malham Cove, we were sure to seek out the greatest challenges this corner of the UK could offer.

Redesigned, refined, and enhanced for the 2018 season, our Autumn Winter collection has undergone close scrutiny in order to perfect every possible detail. The result? The finest technical bikewear available.

Crossing over the National Park boundary from the Dales and into the Forest of Bowland, we went through the Trough of Bowland and tackled Jubilee Tower Hill, rewarding ourselves with some of the nicest riding of the trip.

Tucked between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, a large part of our shoot took place around the Forest of Bowland. Quiet roads with challenging terrain, this area is a real cycling treasure. For testing your mettle on UK soil, Bowland always delivers.

In mixed conditions, the Autumn Winter 2018 Collection stood up well. Robust and versatile, our group were able to push their limits without hitting those of their kit.

One of the highlights of the ride was tackling the Cross of Greet in the Forest of Bowland. A 1.8 mile grind at 6 average, this road rises above the scrubland to reveal the Peak Districts in the distance, and the Dales behind. With a 13% maximum gradient thrown into the mix, this was classic hill climb terrain.

Our thanks go to Russ Ellis for capturing our rides and documenting our latest season. To browse our Autumn Winter 2018 collection in full, simply follow the link below.
