SIXTY MINUTES OF GREATNESS

Supported by Le Col, Joss Lowden broke the Women’s Hour Record with a distance of 48.405km, beating Vittoria Bussi’s previous distance by 400m. Broadcast live to an expectant audience on Eurosport and GCN+, the attempt was a landmark event in the history of cycling.

Riding at the Velodrome Suisse in Grenchen, wearing the Le Col × McClaren Project Aero Skinsuit and turning a huge 64×15 gear, Joss looked composed throughout. At 20km she was already 8 seconds up, riding at an average of 48.185km/h by the half way point of the hour. Joss paced steadily faster throughout the hour, with a big final 10 minutes to claim the world record in style.

Congratulations to Joss for setting this incredible record, everyone at Le Col is immensely proud of your efforts and dedication. Thank you for bringing Project Aero to life.
