It's time for our next Strava Challenge, and after our last one broke Strava records, we thought we would let you know what this challenge is about, and set you some targets to motivate you to complete that extra lap.
In our last challenge, we wanted to motivate people to keep active during the peak of governmental restrictions. As they ease, we want to encourage people to build on their form, and move towards pushing their fitness to new levels with steady progress.
Our Challenges are about bringing people together, providing purpose, and motivating rides through the offer of rewads. From a £50 Reward for every completer to a grand Wahoo KICKR Indoor Training Bike, this challenge is no different.
The Keep Active Challenge saw a total of 483,000 people sign up, take part, and keep themselves accountable for their excercise - let's go bigger.
In our last challenge, participants racked up 8 million hours of recorded activity. This time around, we want you to push further with each activity, complete that lap, and go the extra mile.
In this challenge, we're setting you a collective goal of 150 million kilometres. If we achieve our target of 500,000 participants, then that means each rider will cover an average of 300km.
Our biggest challenge to date saw 7.7 million activities registered. As we encourage more and more people to record whatever their activity, we want you to do more of what keeps you fit.
