BORA - HANSGROHE CHOOSE LE COL TO SUPPLY PERFORMANCE CYCLING KIT FOR 2022 SEASON

Premium British cycling apparel brand enters into a three year technical kit partnership with BORA - hansgrohe World Tour Professional Cycling Team.

22nd September 2021: The British performance cycling apparel brand Le Col has announced that they will be supplying technical clothing for the men’s UCI World Tour team BORA - hansgrohe from next season as part of a three-year technical kit partnership.

Le Col have spent the past year putting together a world-beating package of kit that includes the fastest skinsuits and speed-suits around, harnessing technology from their Project Aero collaboration with world leading aerodynamics experts McLaren. They will be applying their cutting edge performance knowledge to enable the German team - which will include former Colombian national champ Sergio Higuita and Giro D’Italia contender Aleksandr Vlasov - to ride faster and further. And with the recent announcement that Sam Bennett is returning to BORA - hansgrohe, Le Col will be providing the fastest cycling kit to the world’s fastest sprinter.

More details on the design and kit innovation will be released later in the year.

Le Col founder, Yanto Barker, who has spent more than 20,000 hours in the saddle as a professional rider and Team GB representative is proud to provide kit to one of the world’s leading professional road cycling teams. ‘Over the past year, the Le Col team and I have spent long hours working on a world-beating aerodynamic package for the BORA - hansgrohe team. We’re incredibly excited to be back in the UCI World Tour with BORA - hansgrohe, a team we have admired and aspired to work with for a long time. We are honoured to be working with some of the greatest riders in the world and we are especially looking forward to providing their performance cycling kit for the coming season”.

Ralph Denk, BORA - hansgrohe Team Manager: "We hope to set a new benchmark together, most notably in terms of aerodynamics and performance, as this area has become increasingly important over the recent years. Le Col's resources, know-how and experience are highly promising here and we are very much looking forward to working together."
