Rated 5 out of 5 by Barnaby Crocker from Great gilet - same pro fit After a bit of to-ing and fro-ing on sizes, I ended up with the Medium in this. I already had the medium Pro Aqua Zero Jacket, and this gilet works brilliantly over the top of it. This gilet still has stretch, and for me (188cm tall, 69kg) the medium is a nice snug fit. Mark from your customer services was terrific in helping me get the return sorted. I"ve used this gilet down to -5 deg C here in the UK, and on a 3hr winter training ride (over a base layer and the Aqua Zero jkt) and i was neither too hot nor too cold. It actually packs up reasonably small and can go into a back pocket if needs be. Great piece.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Pietro Brenni from Therma Gilet This is my first gilet . For a thermal gilet it is quite light and a thin material, but I have used it at temperatures down to -6 with other layers and it has definitely kept my core warm . But it doesnt get 5 stars as I find the zip to be very stiff ( worried it might break at some point ) and more importantly i don’t feel it breaths that well so my clothes underneath get quite wet . This maybe different when it gets warmer and I have less layers underneath.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Paul Murphy from Xl too small for me Product brilliant but had to send back to get xxl I normally wear L for jerseys and Xl for Rapha gear but Le Col xl was too small. But that aside I have just got the replacement with no fuss great customer service particularly with the offer u guys had running which must have been very busy. Will definitely buy more Le Col. I have seen the kit on Lawrence carpenter YouTube and like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ed from Thermal Gilet I bought this with the mindfulness that it would not fold down into a pocket if it became too warm. Fit is spot on for my medium size and 38" chest, and it has proven to be a warm layer. Perfect over a roubaix long sleeve jersey for my January rides so far. Washed well at 30 degrees. Not yet had to encounter rain whilst wearing this, but this is Britain and it"ll be tested soon!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Andy Thomas from 43590 I love this gilet. The quality of the materials is excellent and I"ve noticed that items such as this can often be judged on how well the zips work! It"s an odd thing to say but seasoned cyclists will know what I mean, the main front zip and the rear pocket zip are top quality and I"m sure I will therefore wearing this gilet for years to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Alex Standerwick from Another great quality product This is by far the best gilet I have ever used. Great fit when in the saddle - very comfortable and does not restrict any movement. The orange is great for visibility as well. Its warm without ending up overheating and great windproof properties. This will become very well used the end of this winter and beginning of spring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Stephan Philipp from Ideal for autumn/winter evening rides I like the tight fit, as I am quite skinny - no wrinkles who let those chilly autumn winds sneak through like with my old gilet. Even at a windy 2-3°C it kept my core nicely warm (with a merino baselayer and a longsleeve jersey underneath). Definitely a purchase I won"t regret. And I am looking forward to winter ...

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dom Spalding from Another great piece of kit from LeCol This is a great piece of kit from LeCol - ideally suited to cold starts, it is thicker than usual gilets and has a Roubaix type lining - only minor criticism is that it does not roll up very small but then its designed to be warmer rather than lightweight. Ideally suited to wearing for the entire ride.
