It's that time of year again and Thursday see's the first round of the Cycling Pearl Izumi Tour Series taking place in the Isle of Wight! The series takes place at ten venues across England, Scotland and Wales, with highlights of each race on ITV4 the following day.
Teams taking part include ONE Pro Cycling , Team WIGGINS, JLT Condor, Madison Genesis, NFTO, Team Raleigh GAC, Pedal Heaven, SportGRub Kuota and Velosure Starley Primal.
In a new format SportGrub Kuota, Pedal Heaven and Velosure Starley Primal teams will battle it out for a new trophy which will be presented to the highest ranked non-UCI Continental team at the end of the series.
The women's series (Matrix Fitness GP Series) enters it's fifth season and starts in Redditch a week later! With the likes of Joanna Rowsell and Dani King taking part, the women's series is well worth the watch and gaining a big following amongst enthusiasts!
